PLEASE READ  

Please arrive to your  tan appointment freshly showered & exfoliated.   To avoid streaks and to minimize blotchiness  do not use any deoderant, perfume, lotion, body powder, or make up. 

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment. 

Please wear loose fitting dark clothing. 

Do not swim or work out for at least 8 hours after your appointment. Prespiration will cause streaks.  Swimming will remove any tan color. 

You may shower 8 hours after your appointment, showering the next morning is best.

This product offers no protection from the sun.  You will still need to use your spf lotion.  soaking in a tub, or hot tubbing will cause your tan to fade off.

It is rare, but ocassionally some persons skin color will not change at all.  It is always recomended that you come in for a skin patch test before you make an appointment.

What is DHA / Sunless Tanner?         Dihydroxyacetone   

(DHA) is a colorless chemical (derived from glycerin; a (sweet syrupy alcohol)) that interacts with the amino acids in dead skin cells to produce a brown color change.

These dead skin cells are constantly being shed, so the color change produced by DHA usually lasts about five to ten days.  DHA is not a sun block. It offers No protection from the sun. Your skin may still burn.

DHA is not absorbed through the skin into the body and it has no known toxicity.

DHA, first discovered by the Germans, in the late 1920's when DHA spilled on the skin, produced a brown color.

DHA has been listed with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 1973, and has been used in cosmetic preparations for 34 years.
